Keeping you informed

Daily profiles are written on your child to keep you in touch with the routines of sleep, eating and nappy changing in the very early years. As your child progresses though nursery more information is written about your child's activities at nursery and then later as a 'Pre-Schooler', educational developments are noted. This information is summarised approximately every 6 months and put into an informal report.

Weekly and Monthly Summaries

In addition to our daily profile, room leaders write up a weekly summary of your child's week at nursery which will include personalised reminders for the forthcoming week.

Monthly newsletters are published to celebrate children's achievements as well as staff successes. Future planning, social events and activities are written up as 'diary dates' and parents are alerted to safety notices.

How we keep you informed

Parent evenings and open days are arranged throughout the year and are often themed or performance based.

The Foyer is updated regularly with useful information, Books for sale, Children's work and snap shots of our days at nursery in our 'photo gallery'.

Staff also liaise with parents at the beginning and end of the day wherever possible as part of the 'key person system'.
