Location

We are situated in the beautiful and secure grounds of the Oxford Science Park adjacent to the Reading Road, A4074. The Park may be accessed in a variety of ways:

• From the A4074 just past Sainsbury's at Heyford Hill, following signs for The Oxford Science Park
• From Grenoble Road, just past the Kassam Stadium, following signs for The Oxford Science Park
• From The Littlemore Roundabout, travelling through Littlemore and then Sandford. At The Catherine Wheel Pub turn left to follow the road under the A4074 on to The Oxford Science Park.

In all cases, once on the Park make your way to the roundabout at the centre of the Park with 'blue glass chippings' around it. To the left is Edmund Halley Road, to the right is Robert Robinson Avenue and straight ahead is Sanders Road where The Oxford Nursery can be found at the end on the right.

Upcoming Events

• Thursday 1st May 2008- Teddy Bears Picnic, Pyjama day and May Day Celebration
  - all children and staff to come in their pyjamas with their favourite teddy bear, donations made to action medical research.
  
  

• Monday 5th May- Friday 30th May 2008- Good citizenship month.
  - A number of professionals e.g police officer, nurse, teacher and fireman will be attending the nursery throuughout the month to demonstrate their role in society.
  
  

• Wednesday 21st May 2008- Cookie Sale to take place at the Magdalen centre
  -children bake and sell their own cookies.
  
  

• Wednesday 21st May 2008- Wind down for the bank holiday weekend coffee morning
  -'parents in partnership' get together, parents encourgaed to come alone, share ideas and suggestions about the nursery.
  
  

• Thursday 29th May 2008- Nursery Music Day
  - Lets make some noise! Violin player, guitar player, french horn player and salt Box music coming to make beautiful music with the children.
  
  

• Friday 6th June 2008- Science Park fun day
  - all welcome, come a get a feel for 'The Science Park community'
  
  

• Wednesday 11th June 2008- Barnados big toddle
  - Trip to cotswold wildlife park with sister nurserys and do a sponsored walk around the park. All funds raised donated to Barnados children charity.
  
  
• Thursday 19th June 2008- Precious Moments
  - External media coming to nursery to film the children in a toy car and go on an adventure- a great alternative to photography!
  
  
• Wednesday 25th June 2008- our day at the Farm cookie sale
  - make and sell cookies at the Science Parks, Magdalen centre.
  
  
• Wednesday 25th June 2008- Smoothy and Juice Coffee morning-
  - an opportunity for all parents to come and share ideas, suggestions and experiences
  
  
• Thursday 26th June 2008- Cuttslowe fun day
  - Sure start annual party, free for nurseries at Cuttslowe park.

• Monday 1st September 2008- Launch of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) birth to five curriculum.
  -Parents information evening to be arranged prior to launch

• Time Capsule burial- to commemorate the close of our Ten year celebrations.
  
  
• Toddler Prom- Picnic and music social evening for all children, staff and parents.

Weekly Events

• Every Tuesday- Little Magic Train Dance, Drama and music and the children are given the opportunity to develop movement and imagination by trained and qualified dance teachers.
  
  
• Every Wednesday (Termly)- Oxford United In The Community- Come to nursery to play football with the children
  
  
• Every Thursday- Salt Box music attend to play instruments and practice basic rhythm with the children.
  
  
• Every other Thursday- Mobile library attends for one hour.
